Rome, Italy (19th May 2012) - The Trevi Fountain

Took the metro using Line 1 from Cipro to Barberini stop where the Fontana di Trevi is. When we arrived, there was already a massive crowd lingering and lepaking there.

See what I meant?

You could hear the gushing sound of the water from a distance. I found the fountain impressive and was left to wonder how could anyone design such a beautiful fountain.
The magnificent Trevi Fountain

People were all sitting around the fountain, snapping photos away. Some of them were eating gelato, while some were just there to enjoy the view. There were many tourists; spotted a group from India, and another from Korea (or Japan..could not remember which).

The view after dark...

People say if you toss a coin into the fountain (with your back facing with fountain), you will return to Rome.
Legend or not, I tossed the coin for the fun of it. Can't post up the video as the file is too large.
