Pisa, Italy (23rd May 2012)

From Florence (Santa Maria Novella Station), we took the train to Pisa (Pisa Centrale). Many people said that the only thing to see in Pisa is the Leaning Tower, and one should't spent more than half a day in Pisa.
We decided anyway to stay overnight at this cozy and homely place called B&B Dei Cavalieri, which is located about 5 minutes walk from the train station.

We passed the Keith Haring mural on the way to the B&B. More on Keith Haring here. I am not really an artistic person, but I find this mural interesting because of the colours and design. It's something different!

All along while we were walking, I wondered why were there so few people in Pisa...
Then I found out.......they were all here at Piazza del Duomo!

People everywhere!

The Baptistery

Pisa Duomo
We paid 6 Euros each to enter the Duomo and the Baptistery.

These pictures were taken inside the Duomo.

After about 40 minutes at the Duomo, we headed to the Baptistery.

Every 30 minutes, a baptistery guard will demonstrate the beautiful effect of harmonizing with his own echo. To get what I mean, do take a look at this video here.
