I thought I swore off potatoes after having to peel (and boil) 16 russet potatoes to be made into mashed potatoes for MYF Christmas party last year. The peeling and boiling job took me the whole morning!
Because hubby has gone off for his induction course, and I was looking for some comfort food which involves MEAT, I decided to make potato soup. Searched for the recipe online, rushed out to buy full cream milk, made this lovely and hearty soup in about 45 mins (include peeling, boiling, frying the chicken ham). I didn't follow the recipe exactly, just the type of ingredients needed, the rest of the measurement was approximate.
