Koh Lipe: Mali Resort Koh Lipe

Mali Resort is every bit beautiful as shown at their website http://www.maliresortkohlipe.com/
Located at the quieter end of Pattaya beach with green grass, shady trees and Balinese-styled villas and Garden bungalows, this place is truly spectacular. Initially we wanted the Balinese Beach Front or the Ocean view bungalows but because we booked the place rather last minute, they only had the Beach front Garden Wing left on the dates we selected. We were also fortunate to have gotten the place for 2000 baht/night since it's the low season.

Introducing MALI, the Labrador which the resort is named after.

Derrik and Mali

We arrived at 10 am and walked to Mali. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ruth and were served orange juice.

We couldn't check-in yet since the check-in time is 1 pm, so we just sat there and marvel at the surrounding.

The Mali-bar

After a short rest, we left our luggage and took a walk on the beach, had lunch and then return to Mali at 1 pm. Our Beach front Garden Wing bungalow was ready by then.

The  view of the lush surroundings from our room, D3.

Each bungalow has its own patio, and place to hang clothes/towels.

The room is simple, but adequate with a huge rack to put our stuff, safe, a super comfy 5 star bedding which I absolutely love, and lights which makes the place oh-so-romantic. The room is really clean and cosy.

The spacious bathroom is clean and toiletries are provided.

This is where we have our breakfast every morning. So pretty!

Hammocks and swings for our leisure..

Thank you Ruth, Aom and all the other Thai staff for making our stay a memorable one.

  1. Looks wonderful but out of my price range. I am retired and on a fixed income so have to stay at cheaper places.
