Food exploration: Kata Cuit

I bookmarked this place as one of the places for 'makan'. Didn't really plan to come because of the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. Anyway, we found ourselves here for dinner on Saturday night.

Unlike other restaurants on the same street, Kata Cuit is an air-conditioned cafe selling not only food, but bread, cakes and ice cream as well.

As we didn't want to overeat that night, we decided to call ala-carte meal instead.
Hubby had their vegetarian green curry while I ordered basil chicken with rice.

Basil Chicken Rice
The vegetable curry was quite nice with a generous portion of vegetables (broccoli, carrots, brinjals and tofu). My basil chicken with rice was disappointing. The flavour of basil was not strong and fragrant enough. Spiciness was non-existent. For the ambient, the total bill was 520B (including 1 coconut and a bottle of mineral water).

The waiter took several shots of us but I liked this the best.
Noticed the boy on the left side of the photo? He wanted to walk pass us but he wasn't sure if he should since the waiter was taking and re-taking the shot of us. I didn't know that he was in this picture until I looked at the photo. He looked so cute here.
